Meet Our Team
Sarah Pettyjohn, LCSW
I’m Sarah, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I know that taking the step to come to therapy requires vulnerability and trust on your part, which is why I strive to create a safe and validating space to take this journey in. Every person brings their own unique set of challenges, strengths, and past experiences to therapy. There is no “one size fits all” solution, which is why I incorporate elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, attachment theory, and mindfulness into my work with individuals.
Life is hard. It can leave us running from the past, terrified of the future, and feeling stuck in the overwhelming uncertainty of it all. I would be honored to walk with you as you explore and define your own story.
Bryttany Stringer, RCSWI
My name is Bryttany Stringer, Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern here at Perspective Counseling. We all aim to be happy, healthy, and develop into the best version of ourselves. Embracing the first step to take charge of your life and mental health is an act of bravery, but can also be challenging as therapy can look different for everyone. My goal is to provide a safe space to process and explore your own thoughts, feelings, and lived experiences.
I believe in using the strengths that you already have, to serve as the foundation of your
journey. My approach to therapy is person centered and strength based, combined with cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and narrative therapeutic practices.
With the right tools and support, I believe we are capable of overcoming our obstacles and reaching our fullest potential within ourselves. Let’s get started on your journey today, together.
Cierra Boyd, RCSWI
My name is Cierra Boyd, and I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern. Congratulations on taking the brave step to seek therapy. Engaging in the therapeutic process can profoundly impact your mental, physical, and emotional well-being. I am here to support you in addressing the challenges that brought you to this point. While therapy can be challenging, it also brings strength, empowerment, and success.
My journey to becoming a therapist was inspired by someone who made a difference in my life, and I strive to have the same impact on my clients. I work with youth, teens, adults, and older adults, tailoring my approach to each individual’s needs. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Therapies to help you make positive changes in areas like trauma processing, relationships, and recovery.
Together, we will create a strong therapeutic alliance in a safe, supportive space. If you’re ready to dive into this transformative journey, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
