Your Role in Therapy

My Role As Your Therapist

While each encounter with a new client is unique, my role as a therapist is to be:

  • Understanding and accepting,

  • Empathetic, encouraging and sometimes challenging

  • Foster hope and nourish the belief of growth and change

  • Stimulate and support your course of action

Length of Therapy

Therapy is not an end in itself, but rather a process you adopt and use in the pursuit of your identified goals

  • The length of therapy can vary depending on your specific needs and circumstances

  • Brief solution-focused therapy can last 6 to 8 sessions

  • Deeper exploration can last several months to a year

  • 1-2 sessions is not enough for true self development
